Micropia ist ein preisgekröntes Museum in der Nähe von Amsterdam Oost (östlicher Teil der Stadt) als Teil des Artis Zoos. Das 2014 eröffnete Micropia ist das einzige Mikroben-Museum seiner Art. Hier wird gezeigt, dass die Milliarden von lebenden Organismen, die überall und in allem zu finden sind und als Mikroben bekannt sind, viele Vorteile haben, die das tägliche Leben erleichtern.
Die Gäste des Museums sehen Pflanzen, Tiere und andere Gegenstände des täglichen Lebens unter der Linse eines Mikroskops. Das moderne Mikroskop ist an sich eine hauptsächlich holländische Erfindung, wobei Antonie van Leeuwenhoek den Entwurf und die Vergrößerung verbessert und den Weg für das, was wir heute als Mikrobiologie kennen, geebnet hat.
Während du dich auf dem Gelände des Museums bewegst, lernst du neue Dinge über Wissenschaft, die dein Verständnis zwischen der Wissenschaft und dem täglichen Leben garantiert bereichern werden. Erfahre im Labor mehr über Mikroben, Wissenschaft und Biologie sowie über Antibiotika.
Tickets sind am Eingang von Micropia erhältlich, sowie auf deren Website oder über unsere Ticketpartner. Reguläre Eintrittskarten für Erwachsene kosten €16,-, Kinder von 3-9 Jahren bezahlen €14,- und Kleinkinder unter 2 Jahren haben freien Eintritt.
