Immersive experience “Eonarium Enlightenment” brings Vivaldi’s masterworks to life in Amsterdam

Exciting news! With only one week left in 2025, a new and exciting exhibition is set to arrive in Amsterdam. The internationally renowned immersive experience “Eonarium Enlightenment” is coming to Amsterdam on January 31, 2026. Over 2 million visitors worldwide have already visited this impressive ode to Vivaldi’s masterpiece, “The Four Seasons”, created by artists from PROJEKTIL in collaboration with Fever. The exhibition is always held in locations with high historical and cultural significance. In Amsterdam, it will be hosted within the walls of the iconic “Oosterkerk”, an architectural highlight from the late 17th century.

Eonarium Enlightenment in De Oosterkerk, Amsterdam

PROJEKTIL breathes new life into Vivaldi’s original compositions by specially rearranging and recording them for this experience. Seated in comfortable chairs and beanbags, facing the ceiling, spectators can be taken on a 30-minute journey through an audiovisual metamorphosis that brings spring, summer, autumn, and winter to life.

State-of-the-art immersive technology

The creators of Eonarium are PROJEKTIL, a group of Swiss-based artists. They combine their unique digital art skill sets in animation, videography, and compelling music sound design to create immersive exhibitions that appeal to broad audiences. Of course, the exhibition space, in this case “De Oosterkerk”, plays a major role in the experience. The elegant square floor plan, featuring arches and pillars, forms a perfectly balanced cross, crowned by a lead-covered wooden dome tower that houses a historic bell, marking the hours since 1671. This makes it the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary experience. Using a 3D scan of the building, the show has been fully adapted to showcase the beautiful architecture at its very best.
