At this location, Eco Boats rents the comfiest boats in Amsterdam. They’re fitted with a lounge cushion set, ensuring a comfortable boat ride. Two types of boats are available: one with a maximum capacity of 7 passengers and the other with a maximum capacity of 10 passengers. The location can be best reached by subway to Spaklerweg. From there, it’s a 5-10 minute walk.

At this location, Eco Boats has the highest-capacity rental boats in Amsterdam. They’re fitted with seat cushions, ensuring a comfortable boat ride. Two types of boats are available: one with a maximum capacity of 8 passengers and the other with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers. The location can be best reached by bus from Amsterdam Central Station. From there, it’s a 4-minute bus ride or 20-minute walk.

Eco Boats now offers a public guided canal tours in addition to boat rentals. This is an excellent choice for those who prefer to be sailed by a professional captain and people who have too little time for the boat rental option. The public canal cruise by Eco Boats departs centrally from a dock in front of Amsterdam Central Station. The vessels that Eco Boats uses are comfortable, modern, open sloops. These boats have a maximum capacity of approximately 25 passengers; therefore, they feel less touristic than the classical canal boats. They are electrically propelled, ensuring a smooth ride without noise pollution or fumes.
In winter, the boats are covered to shelter passengers from wind and rain. Therefore, Eco Boats can provide their customers with an authentic canal tour all year round. Cushions and blankets are available to keep passengers warm and comfy during the cruise. However, we advise you to dress properly so that you can enjoy the experience to the fullest!
The modern, comfortable boats by Eco Boats can now also be rented for private boat tours! The boats can comfortably host groups of 10, up to 30 passengers. It’s an excellent choice for private celebrations, company trips or team-building events. The minimum duration for a cruise is 90 minutes, but custom boat tours can be extended up to 4 hours. The private boat tour always features an open bar but is fully customizable and can be topped with bites, such as pizza, snacks or tapas. This was hands down the best thing we did in Amsterdam. We chose for the canal cruise guided by a professional skipper and the cruise was great. Our skipper Daniel was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The boats were comfortable and because of the electric motor made no noise. I’d recommend this activity and company to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
