The Amsterdam lookout, or A’DAM Lookout, gives you by no doubt the most magnificent view over the city of Amsterdam. This is probably the best place of the city for sightseeing in Amsterdam. The tower is about 100 meters high and is situated in the North of the city next to THIS IS HOLLAND. From the Amsterdam look out you’ll be able to see the historical center of Amsterdam behind the IJ river, harbor area and rural areas north of the city. On clear days you can even spot high buildings in surrounding cities.
For the thrillseekers amongst you there’s a swing over the edge of the tower. So you can have a swing at 100 meters height while enjoying the Amsterdam skyline. If you are afraid of heights, or just don’t like the idea of a swing on top of a tower there’s also the possibility to just enjoy a drink and something to eat while you’re enjoying the view, from the restaurant.
