Payment System Error and horrible customer service
There was a problem during the payment process and I was stuck without seeing any confirmation page that my payment was approved. I checked my bank account and email, there was no email or money withdrawal from the account. So I asked my friend to do the reservation and she was able to make a reservation quickly. Afterwards I received a confirmation email 5 minutes later, and I saw that the money was withdrawn from my bank account, meaning we got a double reservation. We called immediately to cancel, but GetYourGuide said they can not refund the ticket because it was purchased within the last 24 hours. I didn’t ask for a refund with any excuse, they didn’t refund it even in a situation caused by an error in their system. I contacted my bank, Ideal and service provider Adyen. Although it appears/ proofs in the system that the payment is delayed, they don’t accept to make a refund. After the proofs that i provided GetYourGuide said that they will escalate and investigate but reject my request with a standard message. They have very bad customer service.
