Sugo Pizza Amsterdam – Delicious Italian cuisine on a budget

If you’re looking for a cheap, quick but decent Italian meal in Amsterdam, we have found the place for you! Italian restaurant Sugo is situated just underneath the city centre, a few hundred metres away from the Albert Cuyp Market. In the tiny cosy restaurant you can easily walk in for pizza al taglio. These are big rectangular pizzas, showcased at the counter. Big advantage in our opinion is that the pizza is being sold in slices. So instead of having to pick one pizza you can choose and mix as much as you like. Upstairs in the restaurant there’s place to sit down while enjoying the delicious pizza.

Usually there are around 20 different pizza’s to choose from. All slices will cost you somewhere between € 3,- to € 4,-. An average eater would need two to three slices for a satisfying dinner. For that money you get a pizza abundantly topped with organic ingredients. According to the website of Sugo the bottom of the pizza is made with a special flour rich of protein and low on carbs. That would make the pizza even suitable for anybody on a diet. What we do know about the bottom is that it’s extremely crunchy and tasty!

Really Good Pizza

The pizza is delicious! I like the concept with the slices so you can pick and mix instead of having to choose just one flavour.
